Makò Cotton: the king of fine yarns
Makò Cotton is one of the world's finest cotton varieties, known for its extraordinary softness, strength and luster. This cotton originates in the fertile lands of northern Egypt, a region located between the valley and the Nile delta, where the mild climate and high humidity favor the growth of the highest quality fibers.

The manufacturing process
Makò Cotton is harvested by hand starting in early March, a method that preserves the integrity of the fibers and ensures an excellent level of quality. After harvesting, the cotton is carefully spun and woven on a 36-gage loom, or one needle every millimeter. This process ensures thin, lightweight and high-performance fabrics.

Unique characteristics of Makò Cotton
- Extra long fibers: Makò Cotton is distinguished by its fibers reaching 33-35 mm, ensuring a fine and durable yarn;
- Softness and luster: the special structure of the fibers gives the fabric an extremely soft feel and natural shine;
- Strength and durability: Makò Cotton undergoes a three-stage twisting process, making it exceptionally long-lasting;
- Exclusivity: this type of cotton is extremely rare, accounting for only 2% of world production.
